Dear Parents

We want to first acknowledge all of our parents, students and staff who have played a very vital role in helping to keep our school community safe.

In Guangdong Province, there have not been any recent cases or suspected cases of COVID-19 at any schools. and a small number of confirmed cases of the virus, have been swiftly detected. Although this is the case, in light of the continuing COVID-19 threat, we would like to advise our KIS family of travel options during the Chinese National Holiday, which is October 1^st to October 11^th.

Please stay and travel within Guangdong Province as much as possible. If it is for an inevitable situation that you must travel outside of Guangdong Province, you are required to take a Nucleic Acid Test before returning to school and submit the results by October 12^th. The test must be taken no later than October 8^th, in order to provide the three day, wait time, for test results to be sent to you. KIS faculty and staff, will also be following the same measures.

If you and your child/ren have plans to leave Guangdong Province during the holiday season, please inform your child/ren’s homeroom teacher of the following:

1. Travel area

2. Period of time

We do understand this may cause some form of inconvenience for you and your family, but we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation to ensure the safety of our child/ren’s.
